Applicants with medical passed but Background check not started connect here

Hi, just want to get those with same status in this loop so we can share status.
My medical passed on 21 Apr, but somehow background check is still not started whereas some applicants have that updated to in progress immediately after medical passed.

Anyone has the same issue? any update?

Its same with me. Medical passed on 21st or 22nd but background check didnt change like everyone else. I wonder why

Hi hopefulguy,
Reading through other thread messages i saw some others with same status as us. So i think no need to worry. It is normal. At this stage as long as we have submitted all the necessary documents carefully, no news is good news until CIC surprises us with good news. We r already super blessed to have AOR so fast. Those from old system have to wait for years before they come to this stage.

Also its great news that some of those under Feb ITAs have received PPR and completed their PR formalities. It will be our turn soon. Stay hopeful and patient. Thanks for sharing. Hope u hear some update soon!

I am in the same boat. AOR September 3, medicals passed but the BG check never started. I have seen people who got PPRs without BG check ever starting. For other it started one or two days before they got the PPR. So its a mixed bag.
