Is this something that could lead to refusal or just towards furhter investigation through interview?
If there is someone is simmilar situation please share it with me.

Thanks!

I think it should just lead to more questions maybe, like people who wrote CIC asked for military book, maybe interview. If they thought you gave incorrect information your application would be rejected from the start.
As you said, you were serving military but not in combat so you didn't lie.
These are just my thoughts but I don't think they would reject you without further check.

"Darlings" Thanks a bunch for sharing your thoughts!
Thumbs up!

Stupid question - where in email they stated you need to provide PC (police certificate, right)? I noticed they ask for PC most people but I didn't find it in email nowhere (or I'm blind :P )

In first email they wrote:

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. We are missing the following information and/or documentation in your application:

A new original police clearance certificate from Croatia for yourself and your spouse (please note that copies are not acceptable)
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp

medical examination for yourself and your accompanying dependants
You will receive separate auto e-mail from us with the instructions.
-------------------------------------------------------

That means, they are requiring new, fresh police certificate although I sent my PC with my application in the first stage.

Congrats!!!
I hope it will soon be our turn :)

@myreckus

thank you for sharing. we got this message:

Please find information concerning your application in the attached document. If you are unable to view the attached document or did not receive a document, please advise us by forwarding this e-mail to https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=vienna

in attachment just instructions for medical check so I guess that is all

I don't know for you guys but I'm constantly tripping that I will miss some information or misread it. :-\

it's strange that they've asked you for the new PCs and did not darlings, even though you have exactly the same timeline/ what does it say for croatia, how long PCs are valid for? in serbia they said one year

to me it's even stranger since our friends who finished before new year were asked for new pc, I think their pcs were not one year old but I will check with them to be sure. we left pc to be the last document to pick up before sending application.

did anyone had experience to be asked for MR first and afterwards PC or any additional documents?

I got 4 emails from them.

3 of them were MR (for me, spouse, kid) - from "Citizenship & Immigration Canada" and 4th came couple of minutes later from "viennaimmigration" stated that I have to provide MR and PC. I don't know if everybody should get more than one mail per person (MR) and one extra for principal applicant.

Don't know. Maybe somebody will throw some light on that.

I don't remember very well, but I think it shouldn't be older than 6 months. Since my app (from may) was returned I used same PCs with my second app. That could be the reason they asked for refreshed docs.

UPDATE: No, according to FSW document checklist they're supposed to be valid for 1 year. Still, doesen't matter, I have new ones already.

Our friends got their PCs in January or February 2014 I think, we got ours end of June 2014.

well, i think that whoever sent PCs issued right before they've sent an application, should be fine. that's the whole point why they suggested to send PCs with the initial app in the first place, to save time and hassle.

we first sent application beginning of July, when it returned in October we didn't get new PCs but sent the ones we already got.

does someone knows if it's must to get emails both from Vienna and CIC in this stage?

hey guys,
does anyone know working hours of vienna office? is it 08-16, or 07-15? or something else :p

Today we got our passports back with visas and COPR. ;D We already bought the plane tickets and we started planning the final stage: landing and settlement. :P
I wish all the best to all of you and hope that everything will go smooth and easy. Cheers ;)

Congrats ITZ and all the best :)
