Thank you adttsc - I am trying to figure out what is the time principle Vienna VO uses to evaluate applications. It is obvious that they do not follow the "first come first served" principle (which would be according to the PER I guess). I though initially that perhaps the applications saturation of a certain noc would be the factor... But users such as uros, martina, akvarium and malitomek prove wrong - their noc's are not so competitive and they were evaluated much faster than others who have received PER around the same time...

It would be nice to know the magic formula Vienna uses :)

We share similar timeline, MR 03.02. Medicals done 23.02. But, I still have no third line. Maybe because of my x-rays. So, it won't appear until I do it in August.

sydney office issues PER, but you might have been lucky to have your app transferred the same day to our LO. or, which sounds more likely, they have reviewed your app long before, lets say on january 28th, but they've updated statuses / sent our PER emails on feb 3rd.. as i said before, i really think they do things in bulk!

Thanks!
+1 for you :-)

I think it's not NOC, it's more likely the completeness of the application, only few ppl so far got document request. So maybe they are cleaning complete applications first and then it will come our turn ( hope soon, but don't believe). There is an applicant from May(thought he is inactive, but he is not) who hasn't received anything so far. It's Friday today, I'll wish you all good weekend later, (there's still hope to share some news today)

I believe that important role in speed of processing, takes the accuracy of background check information. If they get back required information in timely manner, I mean fast, then your process cycle will be moved step forward.
Also, I noticed that they are not processing more than 3 applications at the same time. Soon as they have completed the already started applications, they send new bulk MR's for next 3 applications with completed background check, and so on...

i think that the formula is as follows:FIFO- NOT! LIFO-NOT, probably totally opposite, but somewhat similar.. and there you go!

cheers people i'm off for the weekend! well, unless i get MR late today, i will definitely be back to share that info with you! have a great weekend! :-*

I agree with you ITZ, I just wonder how long it might take ??? Just can't say that they are processing only 3 applications cause it's not just us here, there are probably many more ppl who applied and don't bother to chat here or don't know where. Some just read, some join to say that mr is done or visa is issued and disappear. I guess we are impatient ::) But for sure it's better to know less and stick to vienna processing time of 29 months and do something in meanwhile.

I can't even imagine how it must be for June and July applicants. Thumbs up for the patience you have!

hahahahha, there is a perfect answer to the question! :)

It seems strange to me that they would process in order of completeness because this implies they would need to open up each and every application as they receive it, run a quick scan and classify it in the "wonder" stacks in their office, and later on apply the "magic formula"?

I would assume it would make much more sense that they start processing once they open it up?

Just checked, my ecas is updated with 3rd line : Medicals have been received
Now how long it takes to get RPRF?
