Grats to all who received MRs and RPRF , you are almost done I got my passports back today, just need to pack now, but plenty of time for that :
Alinazakat did you send an email to vo to ask about delay? If I am right you had some form to update back then or?
About sending passports I used dhl service, didn't ask for other option or price.

for macedonians is affordable, 70 euros
i checked it from serbia, and it is quite expensive. they charge RSD 5,500 to send, and 10.700 to get it back, but they are not quite sure when it can get back since they need to hire other courier. so, the best and cheapest way is to take a bus and go personally, it costs aprox 50 euros both ways from belgrade

I think I'll use courier for sending (I have some good deal) and snail mail for return. Our friends done that way and it was ok. Unfortunately, going to Vienna is not an option now.

Hi Guys,
So we finally went for the MR today.
Although we have been waiting for the embassy's response regarding my wife's change of name but they didnt reply till today. So we went for MR like that.
Physician told us that its not an issue doing medical with old name as long as we have provided the VO with the new passport and proof of marriage.

So the waiting starts

I mean when do youhave to go/start a bus/car ride from Bg to Vienna to be there on time when they accept passports?
If trip lasts at least 4 hours .... you cam miss time the office is open.

It was 35 euros for sending and 55 return with dhl, and VO working hours are from 8 till 16 o'clock.

We did medical today and I would like to use opportunity to say big thanks to strangersr for detailed report.
Knowing what is in front of us made it much easier.

We waited for a bit more than 1 hour before someone started processing us.
Anyways it all went well so now we wait for next step patiently.

P.S. I would not go into details about medical since strangersr already gave it thoroughly and I would just confirm overall experience

Hi Guys!

I'm sorry for interrupting the conversation to ask my question. I got my visitor visa approved on 7th May. Sent my documents on 8th May via DHL. It was trackable so I know it was received on 12th May. But haven't heard back from the Canadian Vienna office till now. I sent them an email on Tuesday but I've received no reply.

Is it common for stamping to take so long for a person to receive the passport? The processing time mentions 10 days and it's more than that so I'm surprised they didn't even reply to my specific query.

And did you'll get a message on CIC informing you about when they dispatched the passport? I have to travel to Denmark soon and it's kind off annoying having my passport in Vienna with absolutely 0 information about when I will receive it.

Lastly is there a phone number to this office so I can call and probably tell them to speed it up or some?

Any help advice etc would be appreciated.

As far as I know you can't call them, it's only a fax number and did you arrange pick up with courier? Otherwise they will send you the passport with regular mail : GL

Well I was OK with a receipt with a normal registered post. As I was under the impression it would be wrapped up in a week.

But I guess I was horribly wrong and just makes me feel helpless...

Any idea or help to speeden this process or tracking my passport now or anything?
