I don't know whether u r talking about the application for admission or for the application for visa but a STRONG SOP is necessary for both.

Rest of the guys, please dont lose hope, and on this forum there is lots of information you can use to prepare you application, and if Godforbid d, you have been rejected for visa, pay close attention to details, and then prepare a strong case, and do not forget to write a STRONG Statement of purpose, that why you want to study only in Canada, and particular university?

Didnt you apply too early for september 2014? Canyou enter canada right away oryou will have to wait for a particupar time ? for how long is your visa? does the period start from the day you got ur passport... or the day you set ur foot in canada?

thank you everyone ! and that's true i got visa after 7 months and there was reason why i got visa so late first of all my profile i have done BSc(Hone) Agriculture with major soil & Environmental Sciences with 3.48 CGPA in 2011 and my IELTS scores are 6.0 ! applied in 1 year postgraduate program (Environmental management and assessment) in Niagara college for september 2013 session. I applied paper based on 10th july but did not get and response from embassy till 16th september so i deffered my admission and got new updated letter of acceptance for september 2014 as my course starts only once in a year but at very next day on 17th september got 2 emails from embassy first email of medical and in other email they asked me for new updated acceptance of letterwhich i provided them on same day and did my medical on 30 september ! SO finally i got my visa after long wait of 7 months but i don't have any regret of getting visa late bcuz in mean while i have completed my master and attended my convocation and got degree in my hand well best of luck to all who are waitinf for medical calls and their visas just remind me in your prayers

Wow so thats the story. Congratulations to you...but why did they take so much time after medical?
was it because it would have been too early if they had given you visa in september only... as it would almost be a year when the program would start?

Anyways is there any requirement that you cant enter canada before a certain date? or is it that you can go whenever you want? how long is your visa for?

If u submitted through VAC then u will be contacted by them when your medical is required.
