Reason was : Financial position ( I have showed National Saving Certificates only no cash), ANd FYI, got rejection even after medical.

Again applied on 18 December 2013,
Deferred intake from January to September 2014.
This time showed liquid cash rather saving certificates.
Got Rejection on 10 February 2014.

Well this is really frightening!! Rejection after medical?? If it is the case of a false statement then i have listened that medical is sent after all verifications N If VO was not satisfied with his Saving certificates y did they gave him a medical call first time. ??? ??? ???

Second time i think he got rejected because VO must have reservation on how can he arrange such amount of cash in such a small time.

this is usual practice of CIC, if something is missing or they require additional info they usually send request for it after medical, like in my case they wanted updated letter of acceptance because the LOA I sent was conditional but I got rid of condition by showing my IELTS, even though i attached my uni letter but they asked for updated,, so i provided them and got my visa, they asked for it after medical and gave me only 10 days to provide or my case will be rejected,, not before medical, it happened to another boy at this forum, he got medical and then CIC asked him to send bank statement of his sponsor since he showed only savings, but he was unable to provide in given time so his case was rejected,,

LOL Mujha yaha forum pa a ka waqi ma tension hoti ha. Soch rha hun jb tk koi jawab nhi ata CIC sa forum pa nhi ao

exactly, because u dont know how long its gonna take even after medical, it took me two months to get visa after medical, depressing sh*t

And sorry it was 6-Feb-14 not January . How much cash should I have with me while coming to Canada (in C$). and Can i Show my bank account (PKR) and sponsorship letter of my elder brother as proof for my finances?

Rest of the guys, please dont lose hope, and on this forum there is lots of information you can use to prepare you application, and if Godforbid d, you have been rejected for visa, pay close attention to details, and then prepare a strong case, and do not forget to write a STRONG Statement of purpose, that why you want to study only in Canada, and particular university?

Tell me one thing, you got your medical email on 24th.
When you done with your medical (date?) and when you got the email to send new deferred LOA for MAY (date?)?

I applied in October, had my medical done in November yet I haven't received my visa.

I have already applied for the may intake and my application is in review.

Once i get accepted i will send in my new LOA.

Even if you don't send the updated LOA to CIC at this stage, they will for it later before giving you visa. So it is better to send it now.

Can we send documents(like updated LOA) to CIC when our application is in process? I think we can only send them document when CIC asks for it. I am not sure though.
