Hi Sagara,

Any progress on your application. I remember you mentioning that you were hoping to inquire as to the delay. Any positive feedback?

Thanks

As i applied through a consultant, i inquired from them initially and the answer was to wait some time as some of the applicants received medicals after 9 months.
That was the reply
Only god knows the truth !

Sagara

Thats what I've heard also. 8 months+ from ecas change to IN PROCESS. So I guess in a month and a half or so for both of us. On the positive side I'm hoping things would move faster after medicals like in Ice Cubes case. Fingers crossed

Cheers and Good Luck!!

Hi Sagara, please check your PM. thanks

Hi Await,

Sorry for the delayed response.

No update from my site. e-case still showing blank status.

hi all,,
my agent asked me to submit property valued as POF in september, and i did it as he said, it was last september,
again he asked me the same valuation letter with a newer date last december and i did it ,,
and i heard from seniers like Qorax and other , VO not accept valuation letters,,

is that true?

Hi Chandi2564,

As for the visa office specific form IMM7110E you need to provide readily transferable funds. Below is copy from section 8

SETTLEMENT FUNDS
Refer to the "Proof of Funds" section of our Web site for exact figures and
instructions.
Provide proof of unencumbered and readily transferable funds in a convertible
currency available for settlement in Canada (for you and your family members):
• current bank certification letter; or
• evidence of savings balance; or
• fixed or time deposit statements.

I was told the property valuations are not accepted. However I see no harm in attaching it along.

hope this helps, Good luck

Hi every body

I received further information regarding police report that is to say it should be from birth not from 18 th birthday. And landing fee. This shows a positive sign as they seems to be satisfied with my other documents . Is it ?

Await - Any news for you ?

regards
sagara

Hi Sagara

That good news that you got some feedback. I too submitted police report from 18th birthday onwards. I am sure it was mentioned somewhere that the requirement was from 18 years onwards... need to check on that. The bad part is it will take about 2 1/2 months more to get a new police report. I submitted my Right of Permanent Residence Fee along with my full docs. Still awaiting for some communication from CHC. Will keep you all posted.

ICECUBE and rest from colombo-CHC can you'll confirm the police report requiment, whether its from age of 18 onwards or from birth?

Thanks guys, Good Luck to all
Cheers

Hi Sagara

Just to confirm as for the Instruction Guide [IMM EG7000] (page 17) listed on the CIC site , the police clearance certificate is only required from the age of 18 onwards

"a valid police certificate, or a police clearance, or a record of no information.
These documents are to be provided for each country other than
Canada, in which you have lived for six consecutive months or longer
since reaching the age of 18."

Check with your consultant and see. Hope it helps
Good Luck
