Hi,
Colombo CHC process FSW applications at a good speed and all of you should get your next update soon. At the same time, don't get frustrated if they send you wrong replies to your email inquiries. (I assume that Ruka knows about this personally).
good luck everyone..

Thanks for the update Ice Cube. I too hope Colombo would be fast as number of applicants are less.

Hi,
As far as I know, there are about four immigration officers and 28 of local officers working at Canadian Immigration department, Colombo. this number of staff is set as the ratio to the number of applications dealt on daily basis. However, I personally know that there are many Sri Lankan applicants (FSW) applying through immigration consultants although we are only few in this forum. If we present our full application well organized and with all requested supporting documents in the checklist, we wont be waiting for that long.

One thing is unclear to me regarding your application (I actually have no clue about FSW3). if you are under FSW3, Aren't you supposed to apply whithin Canada?
Good luck!
Ice Cube

Yes your spot on.

FSW3 is as follows,

For students or workers who are legally residing in Canada, and have done so for at least 12 months immediately before submitting their application.
