I booked my tickets for OCT 18 2012. British Airways @ 30856 INR

Now I need advise here

I was in Canada before getting immigrant visa then I came back to India as my work permit didn't extended, I am still having my bank acc there with TD. I also used this acc as PoF for filing my Immigration. Now when I land there I will b carrying just 1000 CAD cos I have enough money there in Canada to support myself.

would there be any issues if immigration officer ask me for PoF and I provide them the scanned copies of bank statements. (one of my friend is getting my bank statements at his mailing add, he can send me scanned copies)

second thing I will be carrying just clothes, shoes, a watch, guitar and wearing a gold chain with pendent. Do I need to prepare a list of all these items can someone provide me with a format of this please. Do I need to write a lump sum amount or should be accurate.

I have already printed out the PR card form and will fill it from here itself to avoid mistake in hurry at airport. what else should I take care of. As I was there in Canada for 2 yrs accommodation and all is not a big deal, just airport clearance is what I am nervous about.

Please Advise.

As you mentioned POF through your Canadian (TD Bank) source it will not be a problem at Port of Entry.
The value of your assets which you are using will be approx and need to mentioned in declaration form which you feel hold re-saleable value, those assets which can bring you capital gain or could come in to tax bracket are mandatory to report, so your gold, currency or owned property sale proceed of which will be brought to canada for settlement should be declared in declaration form.

Don not worry about PR form, it is simple and no body rush you at air-port, you are lucky to get such cheap fare, I hope if you are arriving Toronto at day time you will find the air-port deserted.

more than enough coz if they want,they can cross check with local bank on a phone call...so nothing to worry.
Secondly, if u are carrying a gold chain, then u need to listed that (there is a list of expensive stuff like,camera,laptop wrist watch etc)
but for me it won't make any difference. Only Indian women carrying lots of gold with them..it need to be declare!!
