Has any body applied for the germany visa within canada? Do you know if we need to go apply gor the Visa in person? Or we should just send the documents? What about the processing time?
I appreciate if you share uour experience with me.

Their website must have all the information you need, and yes you should appear in person.

If you're e-mailing the receipt, you don't need to fill it out. If you're mailing it, you might as well write those details, it won't hurt.

thanks so much for your reply. The payment finally went through ;D :D :D :D. turned out the problem was with my billing address. I have recently changed my home address, and I did update my bank account, but for some weird reason the bank only updated the debit card account address, not the credit card :'( I figured out this problem early this morning and called the bank to update the address, and I thought I had it all settled down. But it turned out that it takes some time for the address change to be effective (a lot of time indeed, almost 12 hours).

Anyway, now that is done can anyone help with how to email the receipt. It has many empty fields for the UCI, address, date of birth, ....
Are we supposed to fill these fields out, scan the receipt and send it back, or send it out with these empty fields as is. Also what information to include in the email? Just the application number or again the date of birth, UCI, ....

Thank you for the reply. I read the website and booked an appointment for visa application. I do not have my work permit an Canadian visa yet,
The website says: when we attend for the appointment, we need valid canadian multiple entry visa.
hopefully i get my canadian visa before my germany visa application appointment.

Hey seniors.
Does anyone know the process of landing if one is inside Canada and received the PR? For example, if one needs just to cross the border and re-enter Canada, does one require a visa to the country's border he/she is crossing?
Valid and truthful comments appreciated.
Thanks

I know that feeling exactly. But think positively. It can come any day. The criminal check took a long time in my case. I was asked for fingerprint in March. It might be also because I have lived in a few different countries. I think that could be the reason some cases are slower.

valid and “accurate” advice, though this has been discussed on this forum many times in the past:

So, if we forget about Canadian see borders with Russia, Norway, and Denmark in the Arctic, Canada shares borders only with the States. If you wish to use to your immigrant visa to land at a port of entry, you can go to any border and cross the Canadian side to reach the US customs. Then let them know that you would like to go back to Canada to complete your immigration process… and be polite with the US officials as you are in the American territory. A US border protection officer may or may not interview you or send you to secondary inspection. They will then issue a note stating that you were denied entry to the USA due to lack of documentation. You will need to present that to the Canadian border services agency officers when you return to the Canadian side. They will then examine your case and if they approve your admissibility, they will grant you permanent residence status. Make sure that you have these documents ready when you appear for landing: your valid passport, an immigrant visa counterfoil (if you need one), Confirmation of Permanent Residence, proof of funds (or arranged employment in Canada).

Your other option is to call CIC’s call centre and arrange an appointment for doing your landing in a local CIC office. This takes longer as those officers aren’t 24/7.

A question about RPRF.

I paid and sent my RPRF receipt through email last week. But except for an auto reply email from CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca, I haven't got any other message. My question is how do we confirm if they have received our RPRF. I paid online by credit card but the system has no relation to our UCI or other ID. Its seems the only way is the receipt sent to them. Should I just be waiting now?

I checked my application status and it says my Med exam has been received, but no info for the RPRF

Would anyone help me?
