Canada and a couple other countries (mainly the USA) have agreements for info sharing. Don't worry about such things, they won't start making phone calls to ask around about you lol

Hi All,

I just received the bloody PPR email.

My application took way more than normal. I am a Dec 2013 applicant and I did my medicals in late Aug 2014. I have been waiting 8 months after my medicals and I received the PPR email today. In summary, I was asked to submit any single document such as military proof card (I am Iranian), CV, list of publications, supervisor's info, POF, etc. My application was then sent to New York VO in Feb 2015, but I did not want to stress out the forum and I did not mention that. I called CIC after it was sent to NY VO and they told me it sent there because of the high volume of applications being processed in Ottawa. I met with my local MP a few times and his office inquired my application status. Each time, CIC just replied that security check is in progress.


However, I got it and I am very happy. Just one suggestion to the people who are waiting for PPR, do not plan anything in advance based on others' applications. Each case is a unique process. Just live your normal life and try to focus on something that you have control on. Keep yourself busy with something enjoyable and try not to think about it. And finally be patient and hopeful.

Normally if there is any problem in your medical, your doctor will contact you. So, it should be OK. Having said that you have the option to order GCMS notes or give a call to CIC call center.

Not accurate. The line of "Medical results has been received" means only it has been received nothing else. Might be pass or not.

My time line is as follows:

CC Charged: Dec 13
PER: Jan 7 2015

PPR: April 30.

For everyone waiting and anxious, relax all will be fine.
If you have made it to this stage, barring any major problem you should scale through.
