I am waiting. I am 1st Oct. applicant.

I really hope we get it this week. Cause if we don't, probably it will take another 2-3 weeks.

hi everyone and thanks for your good wishes, also thanks cantaloupe for your helpful comments via private message! :D

shortly after request for payment of RPRF, i got an email with a pdf attachment regarding medicals; a few hours later i got another email asking for medical examination, RPRF, and resume. I hope all other phd students will get their applications processed and visas issued soon.

Congrats!! get it done and prepare for another 2/3 months wait for the PPR another month for get that back ;). This stupid stream just ruining the quality of a phd work for sure.

I'm an Oct. 14th applicant and today I got emails for medical/police certificate request/CV/RPRF. In the email it says that you should submit all the requested documents to the mailing address of CPC-ottawa. So, I was wondering why there were people asking about whether it should be word or pdf? The email address provided (CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca) is for email ENQUIRIES.

In general, which of these information should be submitted by email and which of them should be submitted by mail?

Congrats ;D

Which one have you received first? And after how many hours have you received the rest?

Farahnaz,
Did they ask for proof of fund or Police certificate from your home country?
Did they ask for additional documents in RPRF or MR?

I already submit the PC and six month POF at the very beginning and they didnt ask for it again

Thanks Farahnz :D ;D

Is there anyone in here who has done medical in Vancouver-Burnaby-Surrey-Richmond area? I have been calling the physicians and among the ones who weren't on vacation (and believe it or not a lot of them were), the earliest appointment was for April 13th in Burnaby. I appreciate if you guys know any doctor who might give me an earlier appointment (I got tired and and didn't call all of them)

Thanks

farahnz just double check your CV, in case that something is missing, and in a few line explain your research topic. Hopefully, this time they will figure it out :)

The only reason is that they might have more info about your recent academic activities (your previous C.V. was for almost 6 months ago). That's totally fine anyway. ;)

You are right guys. I will make updated and more precise information this time. Thanks

Try the doctors from other cities. If you were in Ontario, I could suggest you a very nice doctor.

Viva I am in Vancouver-BC. The closest city would be 4 hours drive I guess and I don't have a car.

The earliest time that I found for medical exam in Calgary is April 22. Given that you have to do lab tests and x-ray at a different place and they should send the results to physician, I'm worried that my medical exam may not be submitted within 30 days limit (April 30). Do you know if this 30 day limit is for the date that we do (undergo) the exam or is it the date that the physician submits the results to CIC?

Was there any case like this that the results were submitted after 30 days limit but the tests were done before 30 days limit?

I received the medical request first. 4 minutes after that I received the rest.
