Have you got both RPRF and MR at the same time?

Yes I received one email first which medical instruction was attached to it. and shortly after another that it says following documents are needed: RPRF, MR, and PhD info

They request this from all Iranian applicants! I would submit it in ms word format via an separate email including your file number

It is not important to say but just wanted to tell you my opinion that ms word format is not a professional format of sending documents. If I were you, I would go for pdf format.

I included my CV, my Superviser info and list of my publications. I thought maybe they didn't like that format. Or maybe it is just the email template for Iranian applicants :

farahnz just double check your CV, in case that something is missing, and in a few line explain your research topic. Hopefully, this time they will figure it out

They also ask for updated proof of funds even though I provided 6 months history before.


Now I have two questions:

1) RPRF and MR comes together ?? Because I did not receive medical request ?
2) I have quite less amount in my account now and I have to provide 11,824$.
How to deal with this issue ? Any advises ?


NOTE:

I was asked to show intention to live outside of quebec and apparently they accepted it as they mentioned
your visa will be issued once you move to any other province.

1) RPRF and MR comes separately and even you may receive MR tomorrow
2) yes you need to show this amount in your account! If the difference between your current balance and the requirement is not that much, you might be OK to deposit some money to reach the requirement, but keep this balance for a while

The only reason is that they might have more info about your recent academic activities (your previous C.V. was for almost 6 months ago). That's totally fine anyway.

1) It depends on your case officer. Some are sending together, some separately. For me it came together. For my friend it came separately.
2) It is a serious issue. Ask others' advice.

My suggestion:if you have some properties back home like a car, ask your parents to sell them and put the money in you account with the explanation and the evidence of from where this money came.

hi everyone and thanks for your good wishes, also thanks cantaloupe for your helpful comments via private message!

shortly after request for payment of RPRF, i got an email with a pdf attachment regarding medicals; a few hours later i got another email asking for medical examination, RPRF, and resume. I hope all other phd students will get their applications processed and visas issued soon.
