Guys, Can you please help me.

1. Is it possible to undergo the Medical exam in another city rather than city of my residence (but still in Ontario)?

2. To which address did you send the receipt of your RPRF? (CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca or CPCO-Cost-recovery.CTDO-Recouvrement-frais @ cic.gc.ca ). Pepe told me I should send it to the second one while in my email there is no information regarding the second email and it asks to send it to CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca (attention to......)?

3. Did you send the receipt of your medical exam separately from the receipt of RPRF or you sent them together.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Ofcourse, u can undergo any physician as long they r in the CIC panel listed physician (listed in the form given with the MR email). I also have done in other city than where i m living. So far no problem and third line already appeared. The address should also given in your e-mail to which you should send the RPRF. I think there was a specific code for the case related officer, for me it started with 'S'. The address was as follows:

Attention: Program Assistant SXXXXXX – CPC-O
Case Processing Center - Ottawa
219 Laurier Avenue West
7th Floor, Section B
Ottawa, Ontario K1A 1L1

Thank you Pg! That makes sense. My application was one week after years. I think I will have to wait for another week to hear from my GCMC notes. Best luck for the rest steps for your application too!

Thanks Adamant for your reply. appreciate it. Pepe suggested me a doctor whose cost is much cheaper than others. I will go there. Even by considering gas cost, it would be far cheaper than those in my city.

Were you charged $190 in total? (Xray included?). I got an offer of $180 in total and it will give you $40 discount if you are two.

I sent to the second address. However, I cc'd the first one as well.
It does not matter which doctor from which city. You should see a doctor in the CIC list. That,s it. Don't worry then :)

Yes Viva2014, go there and you will get the third line very fast. Also its the cheapest doctor in southern ontario.

One of my question went unattended so posting again, I sent my passport to Ottawa Today, how long you guys think it takes to get passport back from Ottawa?

Yes, even if you do not request the extension, CPC Ottawa will send you an automatic email after the 60 days have passed to let you know that an additional 30 days have been granted to you to submit your PCC!

Hi everyone,

Do you know if it's possible to ask CPC-ottawa for an extension on the deadline to submit police clearance certificate?
I have not received the PCC request email, but I'm worried because it has been 4 months since I applied for PCC from my home country and I haven't received it yet. They're saying that it could take another 2 months to get it >:(

The doctor I recommended to you uploaded my the results two business days after undergoing medicals and I saw the third line 3 days after he uploaded the results VERY FAST!

Guys... your posts about medical expenses make edmontonians feel crapy :-)

Looks like its better to fly to toronto for vacation and do medical exams...... I wish, I was in Toronto..

I enquired with all physicians in Edmonton and the best price quote I got was 360 per person including X-ray and blood....

But, that place was booked for 15 days at that time.......

Good luck all of u...

WoW, That's too much. Did you also check physicians in Calgary?

Yes, slightly cheaper... about 300-360 in the places i enquired... it was in winter and gas or tickets for bus and other expenses like eating outside would would cost me at least 100-150 CAD, so decided to do it in Edmonton..

The sad part was they took 15 days to upload all the results...

Also, there were sh*t ton on people doing medicals in the same centre, despite the cost....

Thanks for ur concern friend...
