Have you submitted both your spouse and your medicals on the same day? If they were uploaded to CIC in different times you should expect delays.

Hi Pepe84

I had my application on 30 JAN 2014. I did not hear anything after my medical request :-( do you think is normal ?

Yes, it's normal. Your should get your PPR email this month. I think CPC Ottawa has all pre-July 2014 applicants in the same FSW Jan file. So depending on what number you are in the queue you will receive PPR early or later this month. Fingers crossed!

:( Did you submit it with your application? and they requested again?
I hope you receive the good email soon.
I have sent them the scans before, I guess they need the originals. They should have told me 6 months ago when I submitted the scans!

Please update my info in the tracker.

I think that's a good news meaning that they are finalizing your application. I hope the new PCC does not trigger the background check again (you already sent them the copy so they should just need to see the original). That is apparently what happened when I sent them my renewed passport and according to MP they sent my brand new passport for background check again!

Good luck and wish to hear better news soon.

What was the issue date for your PCC? Is the date still valid or expired?

I have one more question. I appreciate if you can help.
My PCC was issued "22 MARCH 2014" (and was valid for just 6 months). So it supposed to be expired on "22 SEP 2014". But when they asked me for additional documents on "18 SEP 2014", they did not ask for a new PCC !!
Dp you think I should send them a new PCC before they request it or just wait for PPR?

As far as I know the PCC should be valid only when you send it to CIC and they usually won't ask for a renewal (I have not seen any case before).

That is what I think too.

If they haven't asked, then don't send a new one unless you can get a new one soon.

It wouldn't hurt to send a new one if you can get it easily. However, I think it is not required to send new PCC unless asked by VO

I have contacted two people who have got PPR lately and yes, CPC Ottawa is sending the PPR emails in the afternoons (after 5pm Eastern time) and sometimes at night! WEIRD!!!!!!!!!!!
