Guys, I really, really need their email. I'm sure somebody has it.

Hi Adam,

Please try to contact CIC with this email: CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca

I did send them one email about 1 month ago, however, no response but autoreply. Good luck.

Hi adam,

I do not have it. But you can go to FSW2014 forum page and ask them. They are more active.

Thanks Viva, these are the addresses I was able to find so far:
cio-sydney-search-enquiry@cic.gc.ca
FSW-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca

I think I'll send an email to both of them.

I believe the first one is more accurate than the second one. But, you might not get any response till around 45 days. If it is very very urgent, it might be better to send a fax to them. I do not have the number but others may help you in this regard.

As I see in the Express entry program, there is no sign of PhD stream! It looks that for new applicants they would treat them all the same and there is no privilege for PhD students in Canada!

Yes it is right :( There may be something until May 2015.

My application was not successful due to insufficient funds -- please update the tracker if possible.

Bank account balance has fallen short of the requirement during recent months and there's that....

Lastly, hope all PhDs (& other applicants) here will get your PR successfully, best of luck!!!
Very sorry to hear that.
Do you mean the applicants need to keep sufficient funds in the back account during the whole process?

Hi AdamHH,

I have communicated with CIO via this email regarding my missent application:
CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca
But I have waited for more than 30 days to hear back from them.

Thank you guys! So I emailed them, but I also sent a fax. To three different numbers ??? It was kinda aggressive from me, but it was really, really important. I hope they will see the message from me. Geez, this is stressful :'(

Well, if you have provided >= 6 months of funds history, doubt they will request more proof. But when you land, I heard you need to have the minimum fund available to show to the border guard.

Since you never know if they'll request updates, it's safer to keep your balance close or above, until you finish landing.

Sorry about your case, but I heard they usually give warning or even extended time to show POF or explain the reason why it is below expectation, in that case you may have time to sell some valuables back home in order to raise money. Was that applicable to you?

Hi Guys,

Many of us are waiting for PPR. I have done my medicals on Nov 12-2014 and I am also waiting for PPR. Today I have checked my ECAS and I noticed second line has been added. I wonder if anyone knows how long they will take for PPR after this. I have one more doubt if my application changes into DECISION MADE before PPR. Is that a good sign.

1. We received your application for permanent residence on January 9, 2014.

2. We started processing your application on December 31, 2014.

3. Medical results have been received.

Are these dates correct? The day you were asked for medicals makes no sense with the day they started processing your application.

Yes That is what I see in my ECAS. I got my medical request on Nov 6, 2014. I think they updated on dec 31, 2014. How can i add all my application timelines in this forum.
