I am waiting too, same date, hopefully next week, but I see some people receiving PER after 30 days, I don't know why the delays on cold NOCs :D

Help guys,

My application is returned because of a missing document.
Do I still have time to send a new application? Should it be before Jan 01?
Should I print new forms and get updated documents, or just add the missing document and send the application back to them?

Thanks.

Hi all,

If somebody's application was returned, is it possible to send it after jan 2015?
I mean if there is something in their records showing the person sent it before Jan 2015? Or s/he can not apply in this
stream any more?

Thanks

Oh, that's unfortunate. Print out new forms and don't forget to date and sign them. Most other documents are fine, but if you can print out new bank statements, do it. Make sure your payment option will be valid for the next four or five months.
Your file should reach their office by the last business day of December, otherwise will likely be returned to you again.

No, just make sure it'll get there by Wednesday if you sill want to submit it.

Thanks. I think I can make it done by DEC 31.

Guys, one question, I got a reference letter from my supervisor, however it is only signed, not stamped. And since the school is closed now and it won't open before January 5th, it is very unlikely that I can get the letter stamped before I send my application, which should be next week. Do you think they will bother me or even return it as incomplete or something?

No.

Go ahead and send the application, my Canadian reference letters were never stamped, only my home country reference letter.

If it is on a letter headed paper, then there is no point stamping it, its good to go.

One of my friends got application package back to his hand just for small mistake....now he is planning to resend it...

Does returned mean refused? What one should do in Form 5669 E (Background declare....in 6 (d) Question.....Should one say Yes and explain why returned or NO???

Thanks ...

No, application returned by CIO means it never went to records, so no need to say that he has been refused previously by CIC.

What was the mistake? Please share!

Hello,
We got the file back as they asked to complete generic form depends in one form.they mentioned in the letter they reviewed the file and that only what they needed so we fill and returned back with their letter copy and written letter of what we did ,my question will they considered the date of the papers they reviewed with the original submission date as some were expired during process but they did not ask about them.
Thanks
