She got PPR earlier because of the email she sent to CPC-O. I still think the due date is when the VO goes back to check your file. Meanwhile the VO is busy checking other applications sent by CIO.
Thanks pepe84. do you know what is PV2

i found PV2 here. Im looking at that lady's posts in the forum.

Can you guys confirm one thing with me,

One page 2 under the heading of Assessment
Eligibility: Passed
Security: Empty
HIRV : Empty
Criminality: Passed
Org Crime: Empty
Medical: In Progress

I passed eligibility and criminality ( I feel it is represented by PCC), but I don't know about security ? its empty either they do security as well or not ?

On page 11, under the heading of admissibility, security section is give what you can conclude from it ? do you have something written there or its blank?

PV2 is the code for provincial nominees whose permanent residence applications are being processed abroad.

Thanks for the link pepe84. I have seen that link a month ago.
Her due date was 30th Jan 2014 and she got PPR much before that- on 9th December 2013.
but my poor confused brain :-[ is not able to understand if the due date is important or not??? explain please.

I think due date is kind of their target to finish some specific part of the processing, e.g, eligibility, security, medical etc. Most of the time I have seen they try to meet their target before their target but I have also found they can defer this timeline too. If they can not meet the goal in the specified timeline they change that date to a new date right after.

Guys, relax. We are all in the same boat. I would panic if other guys were getting PPR and I wasn't. No one has gotten PPR since November. We all can't have issues with our applications. If you have done medicals and submitted the requested documents, all that's left for you to do is wait. For how long, no one can tell. No guess is accurate. So please my friends, try to relax and enjoy your holidays. God knows I need to use tied up funds in my account :-)

Is it that they are working till end of december? don't close office in 22nd for example?!

Could someone in this thread tell me, when CIC will respond for the first time after they received the application? I am 28 October applicant under PhD stream? What is the latest information on DD or CC charged?

thanks in advance.

It seems that currently CIC is charging mid-October applicants.

It seems that your application is synchronized with mine. I got med request on 8th Oct and submitted on 14th Oct. Since then, there has been no response at all. Waiting is probably the only thing we can do, though the protracted processing time does force me to pass a job offer.

DNEP,

I am 22nd Sept application and still didn't get any reply yet.....neither CC or PER email, welcome to the club.... :( :( :(

As I understand, CIC is charging some applicants from Mid Oct under FSW stream, but not all of them. Some of July/Aug applicants are still waiting for being cashed. In term of Phd stream, an Aug applicant was cashed about 3 weeks ago but didn't hear any updates after that. Please correct me if anyone knows the new progress. Thanks

Let's cross our paws.... :P

Hey folks,

Does anyone know the minimum validity period our passports must have when requested by CPC-Ottawa?

Any links would be appreciated!

Thanks,

;D

I think I found out the reason of the delay:

- CPC Ottawa is currently requesting passports to CEC applicants (May 2014). The last one I could see with PPR was Dec 05, 2014!

Hopefully the next one will be FSW! ;D

I think you your passport should be valid for at least six months.

From the CEC Forum. They also have an spreadsheet that I couldn't find! But all indicates that CPC-Ottawa was actively requesting passports during November to CEC-May2014 applicants.

Thanks for the info. I also saw a CEC applicant who got PPR on Nov. 16th.
