I received my latest ATIP information today. Not much changed. Criminality is still in progress (I wonder if that remains the same till the end?), but eligibility has changed from "not started" to "in progress". It is amazing how fast they work. The due date for eligibility was in May and there are some updates in October, and still going on. Lets see which comes first, PPR or my first grandchild! ;D

Hello,

Could you tell me how did you get ATIP information? Thank you :)

Choose Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and give them your file number (or UCI) and ask for case electronic notes (and not the physical case)... choose to receive the notes via email (and not on a CD). It'll take about a month.

That's interesting. You've been requested to do medicals and still eligibility in progress !!
You might want to consider asking MP to inquire about your case. It's been over 5 months since you did medicals.

It is interesting for me as well. I have asked for ATIP as well which has not been received yet.
BTW, did you ask for ATIP pyzdfr?

Thank you for your suggestion. However, I think going to MP might not work as well. You have to spend a lot of time to establish contact with them and at the end, they will tell you that you file is in progress and you have to wait, nothing more. I have not seen any case in which MPs could expedite the procedure. They just go as they want, and there is nothing we can do about it.

Ace 2012,

I have an Iranian friend with exactly the same timeline as you. He has not got PPR yet. When he applied for ATIP, the ATIP was mentioning that his eligibility and criminality is passed and confirmed. He was able to see his points and his total points were 73. Also he passed security check as ATIP mentioned. However his medical results were in progress and that was the reason he did not get PPR. He did his medical in July but nobody knows why his medical results are still in progress.
Do you mean that the ATIP did not mention the points you earned at all?

Guys, Is there anyway to contact CIO except email ? I sent them four emails and no reply at all...

Sorr, but this is the only way you can contact them. It usually takes 45 days to get a response from them. It is too early to get worried about your application.

The problem is that my bank is going to replace my credit card with a new one soon :( That's why I am a little bit worried.

I think they have different assessments. When you get the information, there are several criteria that you have to pass. I have received the points and some evaluations. Yet, it seems not to be what eligibility means. I have my medicals passes, but eligibility and criminality in progress. As I mentioned, in my previous request (August), the eligibility was marked as not started!

Don't worry. You can use your previous card until the last date of its expiry. But, you must not activate the new one untill then. In this case you will be fine. You can check this info by asking your bank too.

It is really awkward. Because you should have passed eligibility by August since it was after your medical exams. It means that they do not necessarily ask for medical exam after your eligibility is confirmed! :-\ :'(

BTW, did you ask for ATIP pyzdfr?

Today's GCMS day. Just got my notes.
It's 55 pages but long story short, here's we I have in the second page:
Assessments:
Eligibility: Passed
Security:
Criminality: In Progress
Medical: Passed

Apparently, I've passed the eligibility, which is a wonderful news, but still doing for background checks. BTW, my file was last updated on 12th of Nov.

Dear All,

Today I got my new PCC from my home country. Exactly when I was taking them to the translator I suddenly checked my e-mail and I had this wonderful e-mail from CPC-Ottawa:

Dear Sir,

Your police certificates have been received.

Regards,

Case Processing Centre - Ottawa | Centre de Traitement des Demandes – Ottawa – RK6165

OMG, thank God I didn't have to pay the translations!!!!!!!!!!!!!
