Dear all,

As my doctor promised, my online status has just been updated with the most wanted third line 3. Medical results have been received.

Now let's wait for PCC which should arrive today to my home address!

Mina,
You should go and edit your profile in order to see the time line under your name. It is quick.

I noticed that my primary occupation NOC is 0131 which was my job back home, but most of you chose 4012 which is RA and TA here. (and of course the 4012 is also in my list)
Does any of you knows if this makes any difference?

If you have one year of experience with that NOC, you will be fine.

Thanks a lot guys! I wish everyone best of luck. I got my PCC today via DHL, almost 15 days after my parents sent them. :( anyhow, the translated documents will be ready to send to Ottawa early next week. I have a question, Ottawa is asking for original police certificate, but the translation services will give me a certified translation with a certified photocopy of the original. What should I do? Should I clip the original on top of the translation bucklet?
Thank you guys!

Hi Pepe,
congrats, you finally received it.
Yes, send certified translation along with original PCC. Just staple them.

Suggest you use WES, it is really fast! Both my friend's and mine ECA were finished in a week after documents received!!
Although they sent email saying ECA would be ready on 21, Nov, we received it by the end of OCT!!!

Dear Xiaolei:

I sent a message to your email lixiaoleiwan@126.com, could me do me a favor about prepairing the documents for WES? Did you get your master degree from China? Thanks you so much!

Thanks a lot! Did you guys send a cover letter together with PCC?

One more question, my PCC has an identity number which is unique for every citizen of my home country. That number is written in the bottom of the main page of my passport (that page with all personal info), but it doesn't say it is my identity number. Should I clarify that to CPC Ottawa?

Of course the PCC also has my name, DOB, name of my parents, citizenship and place of birth.

Moreover, it says I have NO criminal records so far.

Please let me know your insights!

I included a cover letter and I think it is kinda professional to have some sort of cover letter included in your package. Just try to be brief.

I do not think you need to clarify anything for CPC as they are well trained. As long as PCC has your name and DOB, it should be enough. In your case, it seems that PCC has everything they need.

Good Luck and hope you'll get PPR soon.

Thanks! My major concern is that I did not declare a national identity document in my Generic Form when I applied, which is true because I do not have a national identity document from my home country. However, I do have an identity number (which is like the SIN number in Canada), and that number is written in the PCC. Do you think it may confuse the visa officer?
