guys , I just saw on the document checklist that says "Leave documents unbound". are we not allowed to staple the papers together? For example a certain form which has many pages should not be stapled? Did anyone staple them together and sent without problem? I already have printed out and many relevant papers are attached to each other !!

Its always a good idea not to staple documents. But I used paper clips to hold the documents together. This way they can easily remove the pin and separate the pages if they want.

Guys living in and around GTA, if you are looking for medical clinic for medical test I recommend http://www.imemed.ca/ (its in Kitchener, max. 2 hrs drive from GTA)

They are really fast and you dont have to wait. I got appointment on the same day (yestreday) and was told that they will send report to CIC withing 3 business days, i.e., before Tuesday. Moreover it cheap, little less than 188 for everything including everything.

Thanks , so just you just bought 2 mailing labels and put with other documents in the envelope. I assume you wrote your mailing address in English on both. right?

Yes both in english.

You can put exactly same amount or round it off. Like I had $15,531 in my bank letter but in the form I just put 15,000.

My application for PR under the PhD stream was received by CIO on June 9th, 2014. My CC was charged yesterday Sept 25th by CIC in Sydney, NS. Does anybody know what would be the next step? How long does it take to get the PER email after CC is charged?

Sorry guys for not updating my status for a long time. I was outside of Canada with limited internet-access and time.
I have very good news
My documents proving intention to live outside Quebec were accepted, file was processed and I finally landed.
Detailed timeline:
Medical and RPRF request- July 9th, 2014
Medical done - July 23rd, 2014
Medical received (on my online status) - August 2nd, 2014
Passport request - August 18th, 2014
Landed - September 21st, 2014

In my letter of attestation, they have put a partially abbreviated version of my name (like part of the first name and part of the family name) . I have a very long name! Do you think this could cause problem?
