Some stupid questions about PPR, but just want to make sure:

1. In the PPR email, CIC did not ask for photo. But some other members suggest to include photos with Passport, e.g.:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/very-urgent-please-advise-got-my-passport-request-today-t163065.0.html

So, should photos be included?

2. If use UPS to send passport to Ottawa, I should use this courier address:
CPC – Ottawa
365 Laurier Avenue West
Ottawa ON K1A 1L1
Correct?

3. In PPR email, CIC suggested to buy 2 PREPAID Canada Post Xpresspost envelopes. But if use UPS to send passport to CIC. Then I only need buy 1 PREPAID Canada Post Xpresspost envelope, and put it into UPS package. Correct?

4. In the self-addressed envelope, I put my address into "TO" section. But how to write the "From" section (including Date, Tel, and Address)?

5. In this mail package, I will include (1) passport, (2) printed PPR email, (3) 1 self-addressed PREPAID Canada Post Xpresspost envelope. Is that all or did I miss anything?

Thank you all! Hope everyone will get your PR card.
1. I didn't include any photos.
2. Yes.
3. Yes.
4. You don't need to write anything on that. CPC will paste a tag with the address on your envelope.
5. That is what I included.

Hi guys,

I have a question about the IMM0008 form. Under the Education/Occupation Detail, what should I input to 'Current occupation'? I am still doing my PhD program. And I am using TRA for work experience.

Thanks
I put "Graduate Student".

It has been 3 weeks now since my medical results were uploaded and still no change to my e-cas; the third line has not shown up till now!

As shown in the tracker, my application arrived at Mar 8 2013. but according to my last GCMS on Apr 22, the assignment due date is blank...

… that's interesting because my application arrived on April 8th 2014; and my due date was March 30th, but my eligibility due date was April 16, 2014.

I thought that too, although the PDF position is not permanent at all; she is coming back within one or two years.

but do you 'prove' you're coming back ?? especially without a job offer right now.

The only other proof I have is the process of my getting licence to practice my profession in another province, but that too is in process...The PDF is in Boston, I can even shuttle...

I would *definitely* use "getting licence to practice my profession in another province" over a post-doc in a foreign country, just my two-cents.

No, of course. That is why I told her moving is the best proof.

Mine was received before you, and my due date is still blank :)

Yes. they said that they uploaded it on April 14. Do u think it is a good idea to send Ottawa an inquiry e-mail ?

I got email from CPP-ottawa this morning:

This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa, which has been found eligible in the Class for which it was submitted. Admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose.

I paid the fee online. This PDF receipt does not contain personal information, so I printed out and scanned and sent it by email.

my process:

reached CIC: 28, Mar,2013,
no document request during this period
and today got RPRF request

just got my latest GCMS notes, … arrived on day 35. Application due date went from 2014/03/30 to 2014/04/30, but eligibility due date remained at 2014/04/16.

Good thing I looked they noticed that my latest reference letter from my academic supervisor b/c it was printed on non-letterhead paper, …. need to fix that right away.

Congrats!

Write your information on it, then send it.

Edit: Would you please share your complete timeline? I am surprised that you haven't shared it before although you were an active member :)
