Can I still send my application to Nova Scotia?
Will it give enough time to get PER before the deadline?

Hey N_O and 2MarriedPhDs...

I updated some docs today in order to make sure they give me the points for my wifes education...
1. I sent my schedule 3 and updated reference letter to add one more year of experience and get 2 points...
2. I re-sent my wifes education docs in the mail as well...

for both points I explained the reason for sending my docs...

1. According to OP 6B, I am allowed to update my experience from application to assessment...hence did that...
2. Explained that my GCMS notes did not have any points by CIO sydney for my wifes education, hence I am resending these docs which were already part of my original file...

I did this just so that they look out for those points for sure...

Hopefully, Ottawa will award all of us those points for spouses' education.

I had not noted something in my GCMS from last week.

My eligibility assessment is still Feb 18 2014 (haven't hear from them)

but I got something new in this one, in page 3, I got that my paper file location now is FA01772 (it used to be registry back in december) and then I got something call Application Assignment, it was assigned to FA01772 and the due date was March 13 2014... Any idea what is this?

BTW I called CIC call centre asking if I do a medical exam for application for a work visa if I can use it later for my PR application and they say that it is OK (within one year)

You had missed the most important thing then . THis due date is important. It shows that you file is in queue to be seen by the case officer.

No, but you should hear soon. It is usually within a few weeks before or after the due date. I have always heard within a week of my due dates.

So the actual important date is the assignment due date and not the assessment due date? I am becoming the one one with the longest waiting time for doc request.

Yes. What can we do? My case has taken 25 month, and still waiting.

my file location is A900....have no clue what that means...and its assigned to FA01772 for a due date of Feb 27 2014....but this is for GCMS notes printed on Feb 19, 2014....

I cant see any where eligibility assessment date....is your file checked once by Ottawa already or the only assessment you have is by Sydney...?

Just received and mailed my RCMP report today, surprisingly no criminal record found
