For the job offer, I have one full-time, permanent, non-seasonal, genuine ...etc that meets the requirements. I had submitted the PR application in June, and received the offer from the University where I study in september. I had been working as a casual (per hour) for 18 months then they gave me the job offer. I sent the offer to CPP-O, we'll see if they are going to give me the 10 points.

In my GCMS Sydney gave me 16 points. But actually I was asking the points under new regulations (based on 24 points). How many points do I get?

English - Speak: 6.5
English - Listen: 8
English - Read: 7
English - Write: 7.5

I have no idea how many points you get if it is under the new regulation, I am not familiar with the new language points system.

Can anyone please tell me where I can find the remaining cap (from 1000) for this year?

CIC's website does not have this piece of information anywhere! Try to call their calling center.

It seems you are so worried about their final decision, so you are asking about your scores under the new regulations and if the PhD capacity is full yet, I wish you a good luck so you don't need to go through this again.

As I got PER on March 28 so as of now I guess (not counting if and buts) that cap has not yet reached ... this may be helpful for you all ...

The PhD cap is for the received applications not for the issued PR visas. They accept 1000 applications each year but this doesn't mean they will issue 1000 visas for PhD applicants!
Your application will not be returned at all, it has to be assessed by a visa officer.

I sent our PCCs before few weeks and one of them was 5 month old, so I am not sure if it will be accepted or not. My advice is to apply for a recent one to be in the safe side.
The answer of the CIC calling center to this question was, "It is up to the officer's discretion to decide whether it is still valid or expired".

We have discussed this point too much, indeed many applicants were rejected because the needed those points. You can update your reference letter to claim one more year of experience so you can get at least 2 extra points, they do accept any experience gained between the time of the submission and the time of the final decision.

I have Canadian relatives who landed after 2 months of submitting my applicant. my question, will Ottawa award me 5 points adaptability for having Canadian relatives even though were landed after 2 months of submitting my application
