Thanks N_O but I mean chances of PER. Does CC charged means PER?

Mostly, yes!

Hi climate_modeller, I was wondering if you could tell me how you find your eligibility points on CIC website :)

I didn't find it on the CIC website I did a Privacy Act request through CIC:

Was your first eligibility assessment done by Ottawa or Sydney?

I'm really not sure how to make that determination. But I'm guessing that it was in Sydney, since I applied on 2013/04/08 and received PER on 2013/06/17, yet Eligibility Assessment 2 has status = met.

Mine is almost the same, but surprisingly the didn't award me any points for spouse's education or my Canadian child although I applied before you in 2013/04/04 and received PER on 2013/04/22. I sent an email to Ottawa asking to correct the adaptability points but they said that my application has not been even assessed yet and any points have not been granted. Hopefully, they award me those points as I applied before the new regulations!

My partner received 5 adaptability points for her education (Masters)
Did your partner get her masters in USA?

Eligibility Assessment 2 is assessment of "ministerial instructions" which means that you have completed 2 years of PhD and don't have a scholarship which requires you to come back to your country.

In my first GCMS which is from Sydney, I don't have JW**** .I only have C****.

Does your say 'Version:2010-06'? I wonder if that has something to do with which selection grid they use. Does anyone have 'Version: 2013-05', if that even exists?

Mine is also Version:2010-06. My guess is that they might do some investigations about degrees from outside Canada or USA before awarding the adaptability points.

Yes! It says "Version:2010-06".The applicants who applied after May 4th, 2013 may answer your question.

I sent copies of accreditation credentials for the universities we attended (4 of them) outside of Canada (all in USA). I'm sure they do they're own due diligence, but those papers may have saved a couple of steps.

Hi Everyone. I applied in this category in Oct 2013.
Is the processing time is really 25 months right now ? is there any chances it will go down.

From the info available on the spreadsheet, 'Immigration tracker', that is accessible via N_O's posts, processing times are all over the map from less than six months to two years and waiting. There does not appear to be a FIFO system.

I believe they're back on the track again. An applicant may receive the medical request or the rejection after 12 months but it may take long to receive the PPR for some nationalities.

Also, they seem work faster on the applications that has been received after May 4th, 2013.

Thanks for your reply. I hope it doesnt not take that long to process. I got my PER in 2 months which is a good time period as seen from the tracker. I hope it keep going like this :D :D :D :D
