Thanks a lot, Kazi. Don't worry man, you'll get yours soon. I know how hard it is, but you need to be a little bit more patient. :)

Thank you very much, Govind. Yeah, Never give up! :)
Hope you'll get your MR soon.

Congrat. You were the guy who was told his MR was sent by the Dr., but not received by Ottawa?

Thanks aidin, yes I am that guy :)

I emailed Ottawa and called CIC a couple of times, they told me that if your Dr. has sent the results you cannot do anything but wait... "you have to wait for a maximum of 3 months (until October 6) then if we did not receive your result by that time, we will contact your Dr."... Then I went to my Dr. one more time (last week) and asked him to resend the results to Ottawa. He did, and the day after I received an email confirming that they received my results, and surprisingly I got the passport request today!

Have your due dates changed between the second and the third set of GCMS?

I don't think so. Atleast in the notes section, only new entry is for attachment of updated documents. Any specific place to look for it in GCMS notes???

Very good. Has your E-cas changed?

My application documents have just received by CIO. I am wondering how long it may take CIO to process the pre-check?
Thanks.

You have a long way to go. It varies from one month to three months as the FSW-general stream started. If you look at the excel spread sheet of the PhD applicants time lines in this forum you will get an idea. Happy journey.

Look under 'Application Assignment'. This gives you the earliest date by which your file would be reviewed. I assume you would have glanced at the due dates under the individual admissibilities section too

Talking about the ongoing strike. My recent knowledge is that there are two unions PAFSO (Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers ) who represents the Foreign Service Officers who work for Dept. of External affairs, and are on strike. And another union is PSAC (Public Service Alliance of Canada) who are basically works for citizenship or immigration application processing. What I have learned from this link that currently PAFSO is on strike not PSAC. Not sure how authentic this information is.
