I agree, even supervisors do not know, VO only refers NOC descriptions, they are also not academic guys... THe PhD categary shoud be independently considered...other than under skilled worker.

That sucks. May be we should ask the ones who got their medical and just claim TA/RA as work experience.

Hey guys! I just got here to my hometown. I have some good news! I got passport request:) Now I will have to wait a few days until I submit everything again, since I'm away. but everything should be done by end of May. I am very happy!

Hi folks,

Just give you guys a heads-up. I emailed them my scanned POF upon their request. At first, I was worried about whether they accepted them or not. Then I emailed them and asked if they accept the emailed copies. It turns out that they are totally ok with it. And I got the response on the same day. It is good news to everyone, I think. Just do not know why I need to wait so long for the medical request to come. It has already been two months since I emailed them my POF........Hopefully, you guys can get some good info out of it. Thanks.

Probably, not necessary.

Hi beishidashuo, can you share the exact wording that you got from Ottawa? It's good to know that they accept scanned POF :)

You can also try ordering CAIPS notes to see what exactly is going on with your file. Download the form from here
