Oh that must be frustrating!

Are you sure that your application has been queued, because according to the tracker your application reached CIO when the CAPS was reached!

That is my second round, in the first round my application reached CIO on Oct 1 and was returned on Dec 22 (CAP REACHED)
My current application was express mailed so there is no doubt that it has been queued, I just cannot track the approval of my application fees payment, I regret paying with money order

Done. Thanks. It seems you're in the 2nd batch of processing. I noticed 2 batches for 2011/2012 applications (exclude those who have passed Med request stage).

The ones that are currently from
1) "Mid-Feb 2012 (for application reach date)/March-early Apr 2012(PER date)" and
2) "May-Jun 2012 (for application reach date)/late May-early Aug 2012(PER date)"
seems to be given attention.

Oddly speaking, March and Apr 2012 are given a miss for now.

Yep. And it's getting really annoying, trust me.
If my application was to continue processing, I'll have to show proof of funds again, and how I wish they would ask me already!
Now that they've updated their timelines, I can't even complain about it to CIC - now it's 15 months...

I have to say that I find this very unfair.

you can call your bank and ask them if the money order is cashed or not. They will check for you

Applicant from PhD program after 5 Nov, 2011 connect here to get status

Hi, I ve got a question here!
I m a Master student and only have a bachelor degree right now. I'm transferring to PhD soon. I'm wondering how many points I will get for education if I apply through PhD stream, given that I don't have Masters??

Do you guys have any idea of what the following means in my refusal email:
The first two lines are due to my work experience. But I don't understand the the lines after.

"
Subsection 75(3) states that if a foreign national fails to meet these requirements, the application shall be refused and no further assessment is required. I am not satisfied that you meet these requirements.

Subsection 11(1) of the Act states that a foreign national must, before entering Canada, apply to an officer for a visa or for any other document required by the regulations. The visa or document shall be issued if, following an examination, the officer is satisfied that the foreign national is not inadmissible and meets the requirements of this Act. Subsection 2(2) specifies that unless otherwise indicated, references in the Act to “this Act” include regulations made under it.

Following an examination of your application, I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of the Act and the regulations for the reasons explained above. I am therefore refusing your application.
