Hi BakerMan. I can see my previous PR application which got rejected but my new PR application ( PhD stream) is not there so I can not see whether there is new line or not.

I don't have access to me Ecas too !!!!!?

I am not sure if it helps but I had this experience earlier. My PER came and still I wasn't able to see my status in e-cas even until then and the months ahead. Only 3 mths after receiving my PER did I realize that my ecas status has always been available but they put my Family name as combining my First name and Last name into 1. Try that and see if that is the case for you.

Anyone has recently applied for a post-graduate work permit?

I'm trying to fill the IMM5710E form (2013-01 version), but it won't allow me to validate it if I do not fill in the "details of my prospective employer". As far as I understand, PGWP is an open work permit and does not require an employer. I tried to fill "n/a" but some fields do not apply (i.e., those with pull-down options like States/Cities/Dates...). Any suggestion?

Congratulations!!! It's good that they have started issuing PER to December applicants. Hopefully things will go faster and faster from this point on (similar to last year, before we hit the big slumber that is the transition from Buffalo to Ottawa). Also note that, if you're going to school to Ontario, you will likely be eligible for international student fee exemption with the PER email (and also OHIP as well).

Credit card charged May 29th, I believe.

I used TA/RA experience here (3 years). I also attached previous experience but there is no detailed description. Since my 3 year TA/RA should be enough, I guess they don't care too much about previous experience in this case.
