Hello folks, could you please give me some suggestion?
Thanks a lot in advance.
For information go to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp

I need heeeelp!!

My application was received in Dec 2011, and in process in March 2012, I just got a refusal letter stating that I don´t have enough funds (I showed 11800 and they told me I should have 13800 for 2 people), and also they told me I don´t have arranged employment, but I showed them I work as a teacher assistant as part of my PhD program and I receive money.

Why do we need to show funds if I receive money monthyl? and what other arranged employment would they need?

Sorry to hear!!!

Yes you need to show 13800 for 2. And they don't except your current employment they are looking for an approved position...

Thanks a lot, Feb2004.

I have one more question. Do I need to provide police clearance certificate of Canada?

What is an approved position? Do they want me to have an arranged employment after my graduation?

They mean to say that neither you have enough fund nor any arranged employment. If you have any arranged employment then they may relax on availability of funds

Oh shoot, MASOUD2011, when did you get the news? And also roughly what was the figure you gave for your available funds?

Dec 20th...15K but some part it was through a large deposit.

I am so sorry to hear that. :( I think apply for CEC is a better idea. My friends got PR in 6-8 months in this category.

Thanks...I'll need Canadian experience then and I don't have it! I should probably try Ontario Nominee Program.

So sorry to hear that Massoud

Thanks, TyrusX...I am not stressed out :) Sooner or later, it'll come! I just need to apply again.

I appreciate your hard work in this forum and hope you'll get your Visa soon...Thanks a lot and be blessed.

I have a question for Chinese applicants. In fact, we have to submit CADGEDC credential reports for our highest post-secondary degree.
And CADGEDC can send the copies of credential reports to foreign embassy.

Do I need to let CADGEDC send my credential reports to Canadian embassy in Beijing, CPP-Ottawa or CIC-Sydney?

Does someone have such experience? Please share me with you idea, thanks. :P

My application was refused for insufficient funds, does anybody know if I wil get my documents back. I am goings to apply again.

Did they ask you for further proofs of funding? What's your nationality?
