Thanks Prince !

I have only one doubt. :'(
If CIC wants to return application due to upper cap then they can return the applications immediately after their delivery. Why they are taking this amount time ?????????????? :-\

Is there any need to open these applications by CIO, Sydney ??? :o

As u can notice from older posts here, applicants were still receiving their PER e-mail till two weeks ago, the last date a PER e-mail was received was on Nov 21 as I remember, which means that CIC were still opening applications till few days before that date. At that point, they made sure that they got 1000 complete and eligible applications, and any more applications are to be returned back. So, they cannot just announce that the cap is reached after just receiving 1000 applications, may be some of them are not eligible or not complete.

What we can say that they should be much more faster in opening and reviewing applications so as to have reasonably updated figures for the cap.

aler123,

Since our applications will be treated as new applications and not the ones returned due to some errors,
which documents do you plan to resend as fresh ones?

I sent a new police certificate only, because mine had been issued more than 3 months ago and that is not acceptable as per the guidelines on the instruction guide. However, since the certificate will take at least 3 months to reach I did resend my application without including the police certificate and I attached an explanation letter saying that the process for the police certificate will take a long time and I would forward it as soon as I received it. The rest of my documents such as the employment letters and the attestation letter were issued in September 2012 so I didn't think it was necessary to have them updated which would take so much time and further delay my application.

What are u gonna do with the proof of fund, are u gonna update ur bank statement ?

Guys, any suggestions, mine goes back to Sep 13, do u think I have to update it? I need to borrow some cash first to set it back to the required fund, which means more time and some headache :/

My police certificate also has expired two weeks ago, it needs two to three month to get a new one, do u think I send it with an explanation letter or what ?

This is very dangerous. We've seen people that did the same and got request for further funding of proofs. If possible, send them the last 6 months of bank history as well.

No.1 - don't freak out. nothing much you can do but wait.
No.2 - no point going to get another one as you don't know when they are going to reply to you. even if u did get one, but they reply to you after the new police cert expires, then what? you do it all over again?!!
No.3 - if really unnecessary, avoid travelling and being in another country more than a month. (just a thought). as they may suddenly come back to you and ask for a new police cert. then again, you can never predict it.
No.4 - get on with your life as per normal. sometimes its not worth it to fret on the little things like this!

In my previous travel history form I didn't fill anything, just NA. I have only travelled from my home country to Canada now, do I need to fill anything?

I have no other means, I don't have the entire amount. The 6-month bank history is even showing much less average funds than required !

You can only hope they won't ask for it. Many of us are in the same boat with this fund issue.
When you sent your bank statement, did it show a balance under the required funds? If so they will reject your application. Truthfully, this is probably the most important part of the application. It's all about money in this world. :(
As for the police certificate, I believe I read on other threads that if they are expired they will contact you and ask for new ones. Wait for immigration to contact you.

PER, great. Congratulations!

The good news are quite encouraging. Congrats to you. This is your christmas gift!! :)

I have a question.

I have sent my application on Feb 2012. but My police certificate was expired that time.
However I sent my application with that expired police certificate and I again applied for a new one
just in case they ask me for the new one. They never asked for anything.

The problem is my new police certificate is also expired now. Do you think I have to apply for a new one?
Or they just accept that?

Wait until they request a new one.
