Good, so you know that we can pass PER with RA/TA only. We keep trying to guess
why some applications go faster than others, but I think it is just not obvious.

Remember guys, from now on, there is no refund :(. It worries me a bit that everyone sent the applications to
buffalo. They will be very busy.

That is great news!! At least they considered your 3.5 years of RA/TA to be at least continuous one year of work experience. Thanks for sharing this with us, AF___. If you don't mind probably sharing a little more, what was the total number of hours per week that you claimed? Was it 20 hours a week? If so, then even after 3.5 years, I think you probably still have less than 3,900 hours. So I'm wondering, did you claim any adaptability points?

Buffalo is probably the only choice since everybody is sending their application from Canada, or is it?

Your can send to your home country too. However, sending the passport later may be a problem. But Buffalo will be overloaded for sure!

I have many years of working experience other than RA/TA, however, I haven't received PER yet by now. My application was received on Dec. 15th and BD cashied on Feb. 3rd. No one knows the VO's standard.

hehe, I felt the same way. I did both my undergrad and master in Canada, and now in my last year for PhD. it has been 10 year! so I thought it might be relatively faster. We will see ... hehe

I also have 3+ years of previous experience other than TA/RA. I also thought that my processing will be faster... lol

btw, just got back from a conference and couldn't be on the forum last few days. Congratulations to all who have got the PER. Hoping to see my one soon :D

I gave the spreadsheet editing right to TyrusX yesterday and yesterday's updates are done by him. :)

Yep you should. GO to your bank and tell them that you need a account statement to show immigration canada that you have enough funds to immigrate. They know what to do.

Some of my friends' applications, who applied about 2 years ago, was transferred to Seattle from Buffalo.

I have had about 650 hrs TA overall and my RA appointments didn't have any hourly rate associated with them (at least in the letters I submitted, I don't know, maybe they some how convert the RA money to the number of hrs).
For adaptability, yes, I have had 10 points of that part (my partner's education level and her Canadian degree).
