Hey Guys,

My application was received by Feb.17,2012. However, there is still no update from CIC.

Shall I worry about being rejected? What else can I do now?

Plus, I noticed some other Feb applicants have not received anything yet.(ka.jadu,edwin83)

Hi moonbow2010, I can understand how frustrated you must be, but keep this one thing in mind: several people after you have been rejected, which is not a good thing that people were rejected, but you're probably on onto something positive really soon.

Think about this, if they were going to reject you based on work experience, they would've done it already (on my CAIPS notes, the opened my application on the same day they requested for extra documents, everything related to work experience was done on the exact same day, one only wonders what have they been doing for over one year), unless if they haven't checked your file, which, based on you application and PER dates, would not make sense.

They're probably trying to verify some documents. You mentioned on the spreadsheet that you included foreign work experience as well, and you probably have to rely on this work experience to get above 67 points?

Anyway, have you ever ordered CAIPS notes? If so, anything of note written there?

ok...i don't know if it means anything but i did see a couple of people on the forum saying their ecas is not accessible and then being contacted shortly afterwards with a document request...but then it might really be nothing but coincidence...maybe you will get you MR request directly!!..good luck to u!

Thanks, I wish you will get ur good news very soon.

The foreign work experience is important for me to meet their minimum requirement of one year's continuous work experience. My TA hours are not enough.

I have ordered caips notes on the middle of March. However, I have not received the result. When I got the notes, hopefully everything will be clearer.

Thanks for your help, anyway.

No, just TA and foreign full-time work experience.

For my major, RA opportunities are occasionally offered by professors.

Another thing that I heard could delay your medicals would be your RCMP screening. Maybe there are people with the same name as yours, and they have criminal records, so they have to go extra length in verification. CAIPS will definitely shed some light on this.

I do not like to say that, but my friend who got rejected because of work experience, applied on Feb 24 and he received his rejection 3 days a go.

I am prepared for that and just wanted to know the result sooner than later.

Let CAIPS do the job. Cross my fingers.

How can I apply for caips?
How much does it cost for a person who lives in Canada?
and how long does it take?
TX

Hey dear,

It is completely accessible. It shows in process.

"We received your application on Feb.17".

Nothing else :(

Due date is more important. Yours should be March 21. You should hear from them very soon (most probably this week). Do not worry!

It is easy but takes a month to get it. It costs nothing if you apply under the Privacy Act:

Thanks aidina. I think CAIPS and Privacy Act are different.
I want the one that has deadlines and CAIPS has the deadline.
My friend told me CAIPS costs 5$ but in the website its more.
