The question is if we assume both T4A (for 104 and 105) are acceptable then our income is more than one full time year based on $10.25/hour, in the other words everybody can set 40hour/week experience based on his salary. I think T4A (104) is acceptable.

The thing is, when you're claiming the work experience, at the same time, you're also claiming to be studying PhD full-time, and that might cause some problems for people applying under the PhD stream. I think the requirement for full-time study is 15 hours a week, so if during this period, you're also claiming 40 hours of work per week, then that might raise some concern.

Hi, this is not a problem. I have a friend who got a letter from his department stated that he worked 40 hours /week. He applied through FSW three years ago at the 2 year beginning of his PhD program. He didn't have any really work experience. He even got a letter from the university of his home country stated he worked 40 hours during his master program, because he told me he need more hours to get the points. He now gets his PR.

The rules where very different 3 years ago. He probably applied in the "international student class" that existed back then.

Finally, got my PER!

As you may have noticed from the spreadsheet, I sent my package on Nov 5th. Basically, that means I was the first applicant under the new stream (atleast among those whose names are in the list!). However, that was my only FIRST in this journey! I was NOT the first one whose CC was encashed, who received "payment received" email, got online status and finally received PER email.

I'd like to take a moment and share something with you!

I'd say, please be patient. It never goes as we want to! Sometimes there might be a reason for delay or even "package return"! Our time is NOT God's time! Some of you know what I'm talking about while this might sound strange for some others...I am driven by my faith not by my sight...I trust God because He once showed me His love...He puts His light on my path every day and I just walk...I didn't aim to put this comment but it happened nonetheless! We normally try to EARN things but this is not how we should be.

Maybe this is the time for ONE who is reading this comment...My dear friend, seek the truth, you'll find it. Love you ALL.

I bet you it actually took more time because you applied so early that even the forms were different, i.e., they had to enter your information manually instead of using the bar codes! LOL. :P
Congrats Masoud, lets hope you get many more good news today.

Thanks, TyrusX. I hope you get even better news! You're so active in this forum, you should get reward ;)

Masoud, congratulations!! This is a good news, not just for yourself, but also for everyone else. It means that, just because you sent an application earlier than somebody, it doesn't necessarily mean that you will reach the next stage earlier as well. So for those who are in his situations, please do not lose hope just yet (I know it is easy to say, and I understand how frustrating it would be to be in that situation).

But man, you sure were really fast in gathering all documents. How did you get the letter of documentation so fast? Did you somehow have a premonition or something that they would start this PhD class? All the same, once hearty congratulations :)

Congrats! Hope the rest will be faster in your case.

And guys, let us know if your ecas status changes after the PER.

And hats off to TyrusX. You are doing a great job.... Seeing the timeline, I myself was a bit depressed about the whole process and was off in the forum last 2 weeks. I am guessing, it will take around minimum 2 years for the whole process where as I though it would be much faster..... :(

Anyways, it's not in our hand and there's nothing we can do about it now.... We can just hope.... :-X

@ snow_walker: it will be faster. Maybe not fast as expected, but 2 years seems unreasonable. Just be patient.

Congratulations to MASOUD2011!
This is a good news. Hopefully, they would move faster later.

@MASOUD2011, Congratulations you have waited the most for now :) but you got it.
@Snow_walker, my ecas status didn't change after the PER

Thanks dude! It is being hard on me too. I'm very anxious about the whole thing as well. I'm not very happy with my supervisor lately, he never helps me with anything, so I try to relax by helping others. Hats off to you for starting this thread, and that you can get PER soon, and everyone soon as well.

Edit: people that applied on Jan 30 are already getting PER on this thread of FSW class:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/july-01-2011-fsw-applicantsmi-3-t74992.0.html;msg1312286#msg1312286

It just shows that our class is not getting as much attention as others.

;) you r not alone, for everything!

Guys,

I sent my application back on 24th of November. The money has been cashed from my account on the 16th of January. So far i din't receive any email from CIC. The thing is that i can not check my ecase status. Whenever i enter my information, they say "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided". What does this mean ??? ???. Also, when they cashed the money from my account, does it mean that my application is complete ?
