You will receive PR card 6-8 weeks after landing. If you are going to US and travelling back by road (car) then COPR and landing papers are sufficient.....but otherwise you cannot re-enter Canada without the PR card.

Can you kindly share the landing experience with us.

My passport has been received by ottawa office on Feb 27 but my return number has not been activated yet.

I went to the border and re-entered Canada. Everything went smoothly. The Canadian officers were not in a good mood since too many people came for landing. Altogether it took 1 hour and I became PR. Nothing special happened. They did not ask for anything except for my permits.

Have they asked about proof of fund during landing?
Have you provided the proof of fund (6 month statement) when you submitting your application or for requested documents?

It takes about 30 days. keep in mind that February was 28 days.

I ordered my GCMS on Jan 30. and received it on Mar. 02. It did take 30 days.

I thing they might be doing some internal processing... hopefully

Also, I dont think they just send us ppr even if we get security clearance...

Mostly there will be one more shower of pprs and lets hope it will be soon...

I guess you are quite right. It could be security clearance which delaying the PPR showers. Lets hope for the best. Wishing all the very best to everyone.

I saw a couple of applicants on the other thread CPC-ottawa got MR yesterday. One of them got his PER Jan 21 (a few days after me). :-\
