Hi Everyone

Today my passport been delivered to Ottawa, Canada. I got option of signature but I can't see signature on online status, There might be an issue ? Anyone had this kind of situation before?

My study permit will be expired on 31 of March, Do you guys think I will get it back before that time ?

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I received my GCMS notes that I ordered 1 week after my PER. Even though my work experience letter was for 2 consecutive years of RA/TA, it shows that CIO office awarded me just 9 points for the work experience (1 year). Do you think it's a good idea to resend a new updated work experience letter to ottawa?

Also in the notes section it says that PA has at least one year of experience and the letter is reviewed but not verified? What do they mean by verifying work experience letter? Do they contact our universities?

Based on of my observation of other applicants experiences, I guess by the time of your notes, Ottawa hasn't touched your file . And CIO officers only care if you are above 67 points and once you reached that they move on to the next applicants. Sending Ottawa a new letter can confuse the officers or it can clarify your case. It is risky. Have you ordered a new GCMS?

blackrock I had this issue when I sent my application to CIO. I got worried and called Canada post and they said when you send your package to a big organization like CIC it is normal to have a day or two delay in showing the signature online. So relax...

I'll let more experienced members comment on your second question.

It takes few hours for the website to show the signature. Don't worry

I do not think if you need to renew your permit. You will get it before. You have more than a month.

I also had this line in my GCMS. Don't worry. Sydney does not verify it.
Mine was assessed by an eligibility analyst and then I got RPRF. It means, mine was first re-assessed by and officer in Ottawa. Then he asked for eligibility analyst to read it one more time. The analyst reviewed it the day after and approved that. At the same day, I got RPRF.

Thanks for your response. I haven't ordered a new one but I will in the next few days.

By the way, Can I ask how we can give others +1 in this forum? I don't seem to be able to find an interface for that!!

My Dear Friends,

We finally landed today at rainbow bridge. It went quite smooth. We drove to the American side, where we were guided to another building for checkings. It took about an hour to finish the work there. Then we were guided back to the Canadian side. We paid 4 CAD fee for crossing the bridge (only when you go back to Canada). Then we showed the Canadian officer our passports and the rejection letter. She kindly guided us to another building where we finished the landing procedure in 15 minutes. All officers were friendly and everything went well.
Wish you guys good luck with your applications.

No problem. Beside each name you see Good and Poor.
Hope you get MR soon

Hello all

For those who are landed. Did the officer give you the CPR with photo or without photo?
and is it stamped?

I did my med exam today in Kitchener at Dr. Garrett's office. If you live within a reasonable distance, go there, it is totally worth it. They are super fast, and all the facilities are in the same building.

Hey do they need the pastport or a drive license also works?

Technically, it would work. But I brought my passport.
