I just called my local CIC office in Edmonton to book an appointment for "landing." I got February 4th. So, I'm just gonna stay ans do it here. No flag polling for me. If you are in Edmonton, you might wanna consider this option.

If your original letter has enough information, you may have a second thought before sending it. By the way when was your application received by CIO? When your cc charged and PER date?

Why a second thought? Do you think that updating the letter can cause a problem?

My timeline:
Received by CIO: Oct. 13, 2014
CC Charged: Dec. 17, 2014
PER: Jan. 21, 2015

My point is that if your letter has all necessary information based on the NOC, why you should do that? Considering the fact that these days CPC Ottawa normally approves the eligibility evaluation of CIO. What is missing in your previous letter which you gonna address now?

Hi,

Recently, I received my PER email from CIO, Sydney. Since I'm not sure if they will accept my work experience letter, I want to update my work experience letter. I was wondering if you know the exact address that I should send my letter? Is it Sydney or Ottawa? Notice that I received PER email from CIO office in Sydney.

Perfection_88, when did you send out your application and get cc charged? Just to get a better sense of what's going on. Thanks!

You seems an active member....Congratulation!!!

Your information is too good for us...

Are there any documents requested in between your application and landing date....?

What documents do they ask in landing date....like any experience letters or anything else ?

Do they check proof of fund at the time of landing?

Thanks in advance.....

Thank you to all of you guys. I will give more details while you ask. Yes, they just asked me in the Canadian side for: Passport, CoPR and proof of fund. I brought an updated bank statement and they were happy with it, no further questions until I was asked to sign the CoPR and leave the building.

In the Canadian booth, they did ask me lots of stupid questions. Did you leave Canada? How much money are you bringing? Do you own any valuable property in your home country? Do you have someone hidden in your car? Whats your current status in Canada? Where do you live in Canada? Then, the officer asked me to enter, park and go inside the building yo proceed with the paperwork.

All requested documents before landing are listed, no other docs different to PCC were requested.
