I sent my documents to CIO for PhD stream, unfortunately I forgot to put my copy of BSc and MSc certificate. I sent it as additional documents after one week to CIO.
I am worry if they add my additional documents to my previous package or it is better to send a new whole package again.
Does anybody have the same experience?
Thanks

Guys,
For landing purpose,
is it necessary to have the minimum fund if you are working full-time?

Thanks,
Depends on officer. Most likely is they dont ask anything, only a couple cases are here they are asked POF at port of entry. I on Oct 28 and they didnt ask anything other than PP and COPR. it took only 15 mins in US side and about 30 mins in Canada side to complete landing for my family of four.

Anyone who have already gone through Landing process??

Also, has anyone tried to use rented vehicle for Landing purposes (driving to US and then coming back)
Yes I did. Nothing was asked about vehicle. They asked just PP to enter US side and to complete the entry refusal process and PP and COPR to complete lading at Canada Side. Dont worry they dont bother about vehicle registration and other stuffs.

When did you submit your application? if it was recently, I would send a new package again as a new application and would call them to withdraw the old application. If you submitted your application more than three months ago, then wait to either get the application back or see if you were lucky and passed the preliminary selection.

Good luck!

Guys, I need your opinion/experience.

In schedule 3 form, I wrote all my work experiences (as requested). But, in my application, I did not put the experience letter from one of my previous employers as I did not need the point for that company. Also, I did not put any cover letter explaining why I did not get a letter from that company. Does it cause any problem?

If it wasn't your primary occupation, you should be fine. The only problem would be that VO will not count that work experience as valid and therefore will give you points based on the work experience that can be proven by your reference letters. Remember, they first check if you meet the minimum eligibility (1 year of continuous work in the primary NOC), thereafter they check how many years in total you have for work experience no matter if it is in other NOCs. If you have 4 years according to schedule 3, but your reference letters only prove 3 years, then they give you points for three years of work experience only.

Hope this helps

Thank you Pepe for your answer. Actually, it wasn't my primary NOC and even I didn't intend to claim for that experience. I just wanted to inform them that I was working for a period of time in Company X and nothing more. Do you have a similar situation ( I mean not providing all the experiences you wrote in the form) ?

I just did a statistical analysis on the spread sheet. It is amazing to see about %90 of people who waited longer than 4 month for their PPR after their medical are actually Iranians. The gold medal went to Aidina with 309 days of waiting after his medical. If this is not a discrimination, then what do you call it?!

OMG! it was too fast!

I am right know thinking about something! It seems that either PER is nowadays being issued by Ottawa or Sydney itself is finalizing the cases! It is almost impossible that only two weeks after getting your PER, you get medical request and these two actions are done by two different sections!

I am also perplexed

It's either Sydney finalizing this, or the PhD stream is going ultra fast. I haven't got my medical request yet :(

I have a similar situation, I also worked under another NOC different to NOC 4012 but related to my degree. So I included that work experience as well and also provided a reference letter to support that.

Hope this helps!
