Congratulation :)

If you did not pass the eligibility they would not send MR and the RPRF.
I strngly believe you are almost there.
BTW, I have submitted two applications under the PhD stream, the first one was rejected but the second one was successful.
Thanks
Thanks for the guidance

Congradulation GeographyPhD,
Probably I would do the flagpolling there too... As we all are close to this stage, could you please share your experience with us? Did you have US visa, and how smooth was the flagpolling, and are we still allowed to do this? Did you do it on foot or by a car...

Thanks,
Hi, what is this landing thing all the people talking about?

Hi,
Which documents are necessary for landing at the border?

Hi all,
I received the Medical Exam request in Oct 17th, Payment of Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) request, and also a request for a new original police certificate for yourself from Germany (translated of course).
I have now 60 days to submit those.
My application was received June 2nd.
I heard back Sept 28th about being in progress and was charged the first fee.
I feel like things are going quick. I expected to hear from them in Dec.

Congratulations shauser, you are almost there!!!

OMG! This is going ultra fast, faster than I was expecting. My application reached CIO on June 9th, the fee was cashed on September 25 and the PER issued on October 6th. Should I expect hearing from Ottawa any time soon? Any suggestions please?

Best wishes to all of you and congrats again to shauser!!!!

Yes, we need to do a formality called landing either in cic offices with appointmet (usually takes 40 days waiting time) or at any Canadian border. Many choose to flagpole to us and come back but I am nit certain how smooth it is. There are some talks about not being able to do the flagpolling these days...

Thanks,
The reason Why I am saying this is the below, please read it carefully:

"..., If you do not submit a return prepaid Xpresspost envelope or if you provide an envelope from any other courier, we will return your passport by regular mail."

They did not reply to the fax I sent Nor to the email.

BTW, they close on the weekends.
Thanks

Hello everyone,

I received my passport request almost a month ago and didn't get the chance to even post my passport till now.
I got one question. Can anyone help me on this?
If I use Canadapost Xpress service, which address should I send my passport to?
Is it

Canada Post:
CPC – Ottawa
PO Box 9780
Ottawa ON K1G 4B9

or

Courier:
CPC – Ottawa
365 Laurier Avenue West
Ottawa ON K1A 1L1

Any advice from those who send their passports?

Thanks,

No, I did not.
I check the tracking number as well as my email every 15 Mins. It is too stressful.

I will let you know of any new.
Thanks

Thanks for your reply.
But I thought xpresspost is considered as courier. Cause with PO box I guess you cannot ask for signature. Right?
