What he is saying is there are stages to getting eligibility cleared.

First one is R10 done by a Program Assistant around the time you get BIL/MEP (the first one)
Next review is done by a Case Processing Agent who then reviews your documents (Funds, Education, Work, Age, IELTS) and either gives it a pass or review required.
Next stage is the final one which is done by an Officer where Eligibility is conclusively Passed.

So the question is, what stage are you on and what prompted your RR?

I currently have RR on my application and its because of funds due to exchange rate.
And what I AM SAYING IS THAT I don't understand why I would even have RR when the file has not been reviewed by a case officer. If you read my previous post, I said the last note by any IRCC staff is by 'program assistant'

This endless wait has forced me to read about all the stages from IRCC website and not some forum or blog. I pretty much know all the stages and what should come before what except IRCC is jumping steps, I don't know then. It's been two long years of wait and reading gcms notes.

If the reason for having RR is on any of the notes I've received, I or at least other people that reviewed the notes with me would have seen it.

I have read your old post and I totally understand your frustration. Hopefully things begin to move faster for all of us.

This is exactly my point. In your case, you know why you have RR for eligibility.
@Deyo Usually you can get a RR by the program associate but this is usually for stat question and not eligibility. Nonetheles since you've studied the notes probably, you could be up to something regarding the algorithm. Maybe post a picture of the notes?
I have tried to post pictures of the notes here in the past, it is too complicated. Cutting, resizing, editing out sensitive information, posting on another site and linking. Y'all will just have to believe me or not believe me ‍♀

Another reason to believe ircc is inconsistent with the information on the so called gcms notes, Security on page 2 assessment portion says 'not started', but I have about 50 something pages redacted in the last gcms note received in March under the 'section 16' act which is related to security under the access to information act.

They say security has not started, but part of my notes are blanked under an act that protects information on security.

Hi @Adesewab, I have read through all your previous posts and it looks like you and I are in the same boat.
- May 2019 AOR,
- Medicals expired in April 2020
- Did re-medicals without request in Nov 2020, it didn't get approved and reflected in my account until Dec 28 2020. 8 or 9 weeks later.
- My last gcms note came in end of March 2021, also had some redacted pages but eligibility on page 2 has been review required since FOREVER.
- No case officer note. The last action on the file by a staff was by program assistant in June 2019. Since then, every other notes on file are records of my gcms note requests, web forms and emails to them(God knows there are plenty of those)

So when I saw people asking you to check page so so and so, that maybe you were missing some information, I just smile.

I really hope the blanked pages(under section 16) means that security has been concluded even though Security on page 2 says 'not started'.

I also considered hiring an immigration lawyer but that cost is not a joke. At the peak of my frustrations, I had a little thought of cancelling the application sef but God is more powerful than village people.

At this point I have accepted that it will happen when it will happen. I have stopped checking my account sef. I have continued to live my life and make decisions like Canada is not a consideration (cause this has held me back A LOT), when we get to that bridge, we will cross it.
Hmm, thanks for sharing. I had to keep living, Life continues. As per immigration lawyer: I contacted two, they were quite honest with me. They told me to wait, that if they lift the lock down and I wait for another 6months without response then they will let look into it. But they were like now I have done everything they would want to do and Accra and London Vo already wrote to them that they have paused all applications, so they don’t just want to collect my money when there’s really nothing they can do. They advised I keep writing emails and stating my AOR immediately the lockdown is lifted.

So that’s the case like this o. I have invested so much in this application, I don’t think cancelling will be an option. But mehn I know the frustration.

I’ll keep updating my status here if anything changes.

If the last note on your application is by the Program assistant then that's a serious delay. You should at least have a note by the case processing agent. What I don't understand is how you have a review required for eligibility if the last note is by the program assistant.

For AOR May 2019, you should have even gotten your PPR before the pandemic started. But like someone said, the pandemic has added delays to an already sluggish visa office.
They haven’t even updated my passport renewal since last year, I have updated it, emailed it numerous times. At this point. I’m just tired. Mine also said security not started, eligibility; recommended passed, criminality: passed. Nothing more. The only difference this time (gcms note) was that 2 pages were missing, that’s all.

Thank you for your response. The comments from the lawyers that you contacted are good information for me. Thanks. We just keep the hope alive. Like they say, it will end in praise.

I have sent a webform couple of weeks ago and they have explained that the delay is due to covid cos they are working with limited staff same message they send to everyone. However i have sent countless emails to the Accra visa office and no one has replied to any of my emails. I'm frustrated!
