Bro,i am so sorry to hear this. No one can use ur visa even though that isnt a consolation.
The only challenge i see u facing is with naija.
My advice is this...
If all effort to retrieve ur passprt fails,pls cancel ur ticket or give it like or 4 months cos u dont know how long this process will take then U will also need to inform CIC and i would suggest doing that now so u can get what docs they need before u start the process.
Secondly,get to a police station and get a police report.
Then get the next flight to abuja as missing passports are always processed from there(u can check with the ikoyi office to confirm and what docs u might possibly need).
Ur visa will be re-issued, dont b worried, i am just feeling ur pain for the money and time that would b wasted.
Try not to feel bad my bro, i am a Christian and whenever things like this happen, later on i get to see what biger catastrophe i was made to avoid, i dont know if that applies here but hey....thats life,u go still make am and u wont remember this.

Thanks for the suggestions so far, really appreciate it. I have gone to police to report the issue. I have also motivated some area boys in the said incident area. Also I have raised case to AVO. Just praying something positive happens soon.
