Myself Gurpreet Gosal, the thing is my sister has sponsored my family for immigration. Now I have got acceptance in Univ of ottawa. would it b easier now to get a study visa or are both the cases work independently.?

Both work independently and you must still show that you will return at the end of your study visa.
