I'm sorry if this is a really stupid question but I am confused......I was looking for my AOR in order to apply for BOWP, now filled in and validated, but have not been sent it yet. Is my mistake that the AOR is sent after you have been invited from the pool and have submitted an application for PR, not when they write to you saying you have been accepted into the pool?

You receive the AOR once you submit your e-APR.

Sorry DelPiero, I did not make it very clear. I thought AOR was sent once you had applied under Express Entry and had been accepted into the pool. But I see now it is much further on...... I think all the initials have muddled me. Thank you for your prompt help, I will have to leave sadly as end of my visa but hope to be called soon and continue the process, perhaps learn all the terms in the meantime and research further.
That's correct, you do not get your AOR when creating a profile and being accepted into the pool, you must obtain an ITA AND submit your electronic application for permanent residency in order to obtain the AOR.
I'm only just in the pool now, waiting for an invitation, my boss says she will try to do what she can to help me to stay....but with only 4 weeks left on an IEC visa in a full time, but seasonal job (ends April) is my only option to go home and wait? A bit disappointed with myself really.
At this point it all depends on what your CRS score is, there should be a draw before your work permit expires so if you receive an ITA and submit your application you can apply for a BOWP right away and continue working under implied status.
AOR received on 13 Dec 17 and My Application is cancelled on 20 Dec 17.Still we not receive any pdf file or message for the reason of cancellation. We raised an enquiry to CIC. Anyway planning to create a new profile on today. We don’t know what is the reason.
Yes thanks, Del Piero, I see. I would have to skate about for medical etc but I have filled in BOWP forms already, just not submitted. Just wondered if there was any other route - someone mentioned Temporary Foreign Worker, but think this might muddy the waters so to speak? Like our Italian connections....DelPiero/Florence!
