Just wondering if anyone knows if the process is the same, no matter which application is submitted.
For an Outland application, SA (AIP) usually comes ~ 30-45 days after CIC receives the application, which would be a few weeks after the actual AOR.
Inlanders get AOR (usually) within 30 days, but we all know that the Sponsor's portion of the package isn't looked at for months....which prompts the obvious question:
Does AOR for an Inland applicant give a level of certainty that the application is complete (all forms are the correct version, all required signatures in place, etc.), or is it nothing more than an employee acknowledging that they have received the application on behalf of CIC?
