I just got my first true update in almost 6 months Background verification went from "not started (gray)" to "in progress (blue)" for both my husband and I!!

Same here, we got our first update since medical updated as passed on Dec 29th. Our BG status moved to in-progress.

Nice! My medical update to passed happened on December 12nd, so we have kind of a similar timeline. Let's hope this strike comes to an outcome quickly so we can receive our portal email soon!

Those above are IRCC GCMS Notes. The last CBSA Notes received was March 17 which had pretty much the same information.

Security made a note on 2023/02/01 about my Background information and Travel History being reviewed (which matches the last notes in my GCMS) and the only other notes before that was 2022/12/12 when the R10 was done.

Other than that, a few pages before those I just learned that my primary VO is Etobicoke's and secondary's Montréal's, that my criminality was "recommended passed", that both my husband's and my diplomas were verified and accepted, as were my IELTS and TCF tests. And that's it. My guess is that they barely touched my application up till April 19th, when I had my BGC on tracker changed to blue, so there was nothing to read there because nobody ever reviewed my application yet --'

I got cbsa noted. I think ircc and cbsa has slight difference.
