Hey Snorden,

Your signature reads as you submitted your passport on 25th November. May I know where did you submit and if you are seeing any changes in tracker?
I also submitted the same day through VFS in Delhi, India but the tracker has been showing your application is being processed at Canada Visa Office from beginning, New Delhi. I wonder if they mean Canada embassy or VFS office.

Yup I submitted my passport at Chandigarh VAC. I haven't yet accessed the tracker yet because i was waiting for the update from CIC (application closed and approved) .

Review of medical resultsassed
A background check is needed:In Progress
Final decision: Not Started

On October 22nd we received a ghost e-mail.
Yesterday we called CIC and they told us that if we don't receive any updates until April 1st, we can take action. It has been more than 6 months and they are saying that we might wait until April.

I am really worried now

For all I know that many ppl got PPR at 12:30 PM (IST) so wait for it /..

I am really worried now

No worries, just relaxed and waiting to finalize the criminality and security that sometime taking hell of time depend on number of country you lived or visited.
I'm in the same boat because next week I will pass one month after 180 days.

I called CIC and told me we can don't anything when the papers with CSIS.

Wishing all the best to whom still waiting and congratulation for others who already finished the journey successfully.

Hi snorden,

I am also FSW Outland applicant with June AOR and my timeline is in my signature. My VO according to my last notes generated on 19 Sep, 2016 was CPC-Ottawa and Security still wasn't started at that moment. I haven't ordered another set of notes after that but seeing your timeline I am thinking that my BG would have be In progress around 4 month mark just as like your was. So according to your opinion am I on right track and do I have to wait for 6 months avg processing time in case of Ottawa as its had been the case with previous applicants?

Called CIC and was also told to wait till April because "officer needs time to review security" what a disappointment
