I think they decided to finalize the BG check of all the rest of January group and then issue PPRs.

I hope next PPR rain will include all of January people .

today when i checked my CIC account, it showed my application status as updated. However, when i refreshed the page, the status again moved to submitted. Has anyone else experienced this? Seems like a system bug to me.

It is not a bug. someone has worked on your file. hopefully within next 24 hrs your BG will change to In progress

For inland applicants, they might be holding on to PPR's as Canada post might go on strike on July 2nd, 2016.

Tomorrow is a national day. Saturday and Sunday CIC doesn't work. So let's hope got the PPR rain on Monday.

Yesterday I saw the status of my application go to "Updated" then go back to "Submitted" without any e-mail or visible changes. Today I just got the e-mail from CIC about my application being updated still with no visible changes.

It has been in progress since February I believe due to the Mexican PCC which cannot be requested without a letter from CIC. I am thinking now they are actually doing the full BG check.
