Maged... how does one determine whether or not they are in a security screening? My background check has been stuck in "does not apply" or something to that effect for ages. Im getting my notes soon - will it be indicated on there?

I don't know that there's discrimination in the security process for sure, I know that some people believe there is 2 types of security, but that's not confirmed by IRCC

They were to expire in November, they extended 9 more months

now that's worrying. What is the delay at their end. My medicals will expire around nov 15. and i'm anticipating to get visa by nov.

I found out through the phone that they extended my medicals to august 2018

Not sure if this means they're anticipating more delays

I'd be very naive to expect they will give me whole extra 8 months for landing (assuming I finish by year end) .. I guess it only means not before sometime in the next spring

When did you pass R10? You really should count the 6 months from R10

It appears that was wrapped up very early on Jan 25 (about two weeks after AOR)

When did you pass eligibility and when was your gcms generated? Also are you IP2?

I just read yoru previous posts. If you BG still says Not Applicable then you are not IP2. Do you know if you have passed eligibility? What does your notes say about it?
