Magical updates are already happening without any logic!!!
Did the authorities forget that they should first process from Oct if they are complete until Sep;
They are following the reverse order starting with 31/12/2016. In a wave, all 30 Dec applicants have a change in BG to IP.

Beyond this, almost 50 Nov applicants and 5 Dec applicants got PPR. That's nice. More will get PPR soon.
There is no definite pattern, sequence of progress updates or PPR.

Not everyone gets transferred to the local VO.
I applied from Egypt too after oinp, 6 Dec aor and my VO is Ottawa

@maged_mmh, my timelines are similar to yours and possibly my VO is also Ottawa. What was the last change to your Background Check and when ?

It's not reverse order. It's always been like this. They distribute applications to diff VO for faster processing. Now it depends on LVO.

June to August app. Got BG IP and PPR particularly from NDVO recently.

There is a definite pattern for each VO. But there are exceptions because security CHK is beyond any VO control and they depend on ext agencies.
