I have been reading this part of the forum while waiting for my PR to come through, and wanted to share my timeline.

After an earlier aborted attempt at obtaining PR through the FSW program, I waited until I had enough skilled work experience in Canada for the CEC program.

Pre-Application

Visa Office: Applied within Canada
Medical Test: upfront. Results came back within a week or so.

Express Entry Application

Express Entry Application Filed: July 26, 2017
Invitation to Apply: July 27, 2016

Main Application

AOR: September 4, 2017
Request for RCMP police check: October 13, 2017. This usually comes back within a week or so.
RCMP Police Check returned: November 15, 2017. My first police check was issued to the wrong address, so this delayed things a bit.
PPR email: January 13, 2017
Sent copy of passport: January 14, 2017
Received CoPR in mail: January 27, 2017
Landed: January 28, 2017
